What the Candis Chatbot does for you

Asking questions about invoices and transactions

You can address the Candis AI directly in Slack or Microsoft Teams and ask questions about invoices, documents, and transactions in natural language. The Candis AI searches the company your workspace is connected to and replies with a link straight to the relevant view in Candis.

Tip: Phrase your question as specifically as possible, for example with a supplier name, time period, or invoice number. This helps the Candis AI find the right results.

Reminding colleagues about open tasks

You can ask the Candis AI who still needs to upload a document for a transaction, or whose approval is still pending for an invoice, a purchase request, or a reimbursement. On request, the Candis AI reminds that person directly in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Receiving automatic notifications

The Candis AI automatically notifies you and your team as soon as important events occur, for example missing documents for transactions or pending invoice approvals. It also sends a weekly summary of all open tasks for your company.

Note: The weekly summary currently includes all open tasks without a limit. If your company has many open tasks, the summary can be correspondingly long.

Managing multiple companies

If your Slack workspace or Microsoft Teams organization is connected to multiple companies in Candis, the Candis AI automatically matches your question to the right company, provided you have permission for that company.

Examples

  • A team member asks the Candis AI in a direct message for all open invoices from a specific supplier ahead of month-end close.

  • A manager asks in a Slack channel who still needs to submit documents for their transactions, and asks the Candis AI to remind those colleagues directly.

  • An admin managing multiple companies asks the Candis AI for the status of open approvals separately for each company.

Note: Candis uses a large language model (Anthropic Claude Sonnet) to process and answer your messages. As with any AI-powered tool, the Candis AI's answers can occasionally be inaccurate. Always verify important information directly in the Candis platform.
