How to connect Cal to Slack

Open Candis and go to Settings. Select the Cal section.

In the Cal section, you will see Slack as an available integration. This integration allows you to receive notifications and interact directly with the Candis AI from your Slack workspace.

Click Connect Slack. Candis will automatically redirect you to the Slack authorization page. Important: only the Slack Workspace admin is able to establish the connection.

In the Slack dialog, you will see a Workspace selection field. Choose the Slack workspace you want to connect to your Candis organization.

Note: If you have access to multiple Slack workspaces, Slack will show a selection here. Make sure to choose the workspace that belongs to the correct Candis organization, as the connection is organization-specific.

On the right-hand side, you will see an overview of the app permissions required for Candis AI to work with Slack.

Click Allow to confirm the connection. Slack will then redirect you back to Candis.

After being redirected to Candis, the Candis AI → Slack section shows the status Connected to Candis. The Disconnect button also appears.

This status confirms that Candis is successfully connected to the selected Slack workspace.

After connecting, you can use Candis AI directly in Slack.

Open Slack and search for @Cal. You can mention the Candis AI in channels or direct messages and ask questions.

Candis AI automatically informs you and your team about important events, for example:

Responses and notifications appear in real time in Slack.
