The new Dashboard not only comes with a refreshed design but also with expanded functionality to help you stay on top of your accounting tasks more efficiently. In this article, you’ll learn about the different sections and how to make the best use of them.

Sections of the New Dashboard

1. My Tasks

The My Tasks section shows you all open to-dos that need your direct attention.

Tasks are grouped into:

  • Inbox

  • Approvals

  • Contracts

  • Export

👉 Tip: Use this section to quickly see where action is required.

2. Monitoring

The Monitoring section is available to users with the roles Administrator or Accountant.

It provides a broader overview of processes that you can’t resolve yourself but are still relevant to you.

This includes:

  • All invoices currently in process

  • Missing invoices linked to credit card transactions

  • Long-pending approvals

3. Get More Out of Candis

The Get More Out of Candis section provides you with up-to-date information such as:

  • Product updates and new features

  • How-to guides

  • Upcoming webinars

  • Package upgrade options

4. Credit Card Wallet

In the Credit Card Wallet, you can manage your company credit cards:

  • See all active cards

  • Check available balances

  • Manage your assigned cards

  • Request a new card

👉 Tip: You’ll only see cards that have been issued to you personally.

5. Reports

The Reports section lets you:

  • Create new reports

  • Track invoice volumes by cost centers or cost units

You can learn more about reports here.

Example Use Cases

  • As an Accountant, you can use Monitoring to identify long-pending approvals and remind colleagues.

  • As a Team Lead, you can use Reports to allocate monthly costs to your project team.

  • As a Cardholder, you can check your available budget directly in the Credit Card Wallet.
