With booking keys it is possible to add tax issues to the invoices. In CANDIS, the booking keys can be managed under
Settings
Booking Keys.
By default, no booking keys are created in CANDIS. To make it easier to get started, the most common booking keys can be created by clicking on "Set up the set of most common keys":

New keys can be created by clicking on "New booking key" in the upper right margin. We always need a number and a description for the creation.
Important: Booking keys always have a function and are not freely selectable. Please inform yourself beforehand at your software provider, which booking keys are important for you and what their number is. Wrong booking keys can lead to errors in the export.
Important for DATEV users
Not all booking keys from DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen can currently be used in DATEV Unternehmen online. This means that these booking keys cannot and must not be used in CANDIS. We have added the DATEV list here once. This list is updated regularly.
