What is "Other"?
Other serves as a general category for custom, technically connected, or non-standard integrations. You use Other if no dedicated integration type exists for your target system or if you want to implement your own logic.
Export Logic
The export logic strongly depends on the connected system and the activated features.
Without Additional Features: Candis uses classic Other exports. You export data manually.
With Activated Candis API: The connected ERP or target system exports data automatically from Candis. The connected system logic handles further processing.
Note: The specific data structure and the export timing depend on the implementation in the target system.
Validation of Account Numbers
For Other, minimal validation rules intentionally apply:
In many cases, account numbers only need to be filled (non-empty).
In certain contexts, account numbers are optional.
This flexibility enables individual validation mechanisms outside of Candis.
When is Other Suitable?
Other is particularly suitable for:
Custom or proprietary ERP systems
Technically connected systems with individual logic
Integrations where validation and processing take place outside of Candis
Tip: Use Other if you need maximum flexibility in export, validation, and further processing.
