SESAM-Fibu Belegviewer (document viewer)

The Document Viewer from Sesamsoft is a paid extension that must be activated for SESAM-Fibu. With the viewer enabled, users can open document images stored in Candis directly from SESAM-Fibu.

Setup for Existing Document Viewer Installations

Once the Document Viewer has been activated, a link to Candis must be configured to enable direct access to document images.

Steps

  1. In SESAM-Fibu, open the menu Extras → Document Viewer Settings.

  2. Enter the following link in the CommandGUID field:

    https://my.candis.io/company-ID/archive/%GUID%

Replace company-ID with your own company identifier.
You can find it by logging in to my.candis.io and clicking Documents in the main menu.
The ID is part of the URL, e.g.:

    https://my.candis.io/thomas-heudecker-demo/archive

→ In this example, the company ID is thomas-heudecker-demo.

  3. Check the “per client” option.
This checkbox is usually enabled by default and should remain active.
It ensures that the Document Viewer configuration applies per client (Mandant) — meaning only for the currently opened Fibu client.
If you deactivate it, the settings will apply globally to all clients in the same installation, which is typically not desired.

  4. Save the settings.

After saving, the integration is complete — document images can now be accessed directly from SESAM-Fibu via the Document Viewer.

Setup for a Newly Ordered Document Viewer

Once the Document Viewer has been ordered from Sesamsoft, the corresponding SESAM update must be installed.
After a successful update, the Document Viewer Settings menu becomes available under Extras → Document Viewer Settings.

Then follow steps 1–4 above to connect to Candis.

Note:
If the Document Viewer Settings menu item is not visible, the extension may not yet be activated or the update may not have been completed successfully.
